Clarington Catholic teachers reach deal with Board Print

While their public counterparts are staging a one day strike today at Clarington elementary schools, local Catholic teachers have reached a tentative agreement with their board.

According to a release from the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board tentative agreement was reached on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. between the Board and the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association, PVNC, Occasional Teachers’ Bargaining Unit.

O.E.C.T.A held a ratifcation meeting on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. The Board is scheduled to ratify the Agreement at the Board meeting scheduled for December 18, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

Both parties have agreed to share details regarding the new Agreement following the ratification process.
