Presentation on child Internet safety Print

Internet safety for children is the topic of a presentation being put on by the Durham Regional Police in Courtice on Monday, March 26, 2012.

In an ongoing effort to keep parents and the members of the community informed about issues related to youth, the Clarington Parent/Police Coalition is inviting the public to hear a presentation by DRPS Detective Randy Norton.

Detective Norton of the Durham Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit will speak to the public about sexting, Internet luring, Facebook, Twitter and other social media issues.

The event will be held 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m at Mother Theresa Catholic School, 78 Glenabbey Drive, Courtice.
