Bev Oda wins in Durham riding Print

Preliminary results from Elections Canada show Bev Oda of the Conservatives winning Durham riding in Monday's federal election.

The riding includes Clarington as well as Uxbridge and Scugog.

The results give Oda, the riding incumbent,  31,431 votes (54 %). Runner up was NDP candidate Tammy Shoep with 12,551 votes (21.6 %), followed by Grant Humes with 10,389 votes (17.9%).

Green Party candidate Stephen Leahy got 3,138 votes, CHP candidate Andrew Moriarity received 498 votes, and Libertarian candidate Blaize Barnicoat got 188 votes.
