Eagles tie playoff series PDF Print E-mail

Tuesday night the Bowmanville Eagles won game four of their best-of-seven CCHL hockey playoff series with the Peterborough Liftlock Stars. The series is now tied at two games a piece.

The Eagles won the game 4-1.

Bowmanville scored 18 seconds into the first period with a goal by Michael Markovic followed by Mitch Moffatt at the 2:04 mark of the first. Peterborough scored late in the first period but the Eagles responded with a late period goal from Adam Place.

The second period was scoreless, and the Eagles ended the game with an empty net goal by Mitchell Heard from deep in the defensive zone.

Game five of the CCHL East semi final is scheduled for the Rickard complex in Bowmanville this Friday at 7:00pm.
