March break may be more than a month away, but it isn't too early to start planning for the week. The municipality of Clarington is offering a trip camp, day camps and sports camp for area kids. These programs run from 9 am to 4:30 pm from March 15 to 19. The sports camp and trip camp are based at the Bowmanville Indoor Soccer Centre, while day camps are available at the Newcastle and District Recreation Complex and the Courtice Community Complex. Skating and swimming are always options for keeping children busy, and pool and rink hours for Bowmanville, Courtice and Newcastle facilities during the break are available at the municipalities website, at www.clarington.net. The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington is offering MarchMania from March 15 to March 19, which consists of arts programming for children aged 7 to 11. This camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, and is offered fro $50 a day for non-members and $45 a day for members.
